Lemme clear something up about subtitles: even if you don't have authors consent to translate stuff, your subs are your own intellectual property (for personal use), right? If someone uses /your/ subs without your consent, you can sue them, no?
I'm not a lawyer, but as I understand it, the subs are an unauthorized derivative work, which makes things kinda murky. I wouldn't try and exert ownership over them in that way because technically you shouldn't have distributed them in the first place.
