Sorry about putting my email in my last question. I used that link you sent me and tired those before and I did the instruction but it still doesn't work. Is there a way to watch this http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=691556 but without the funimation subs in it? Only want vivid subs when watching.

You need to extract the funi audio and apply it to the Vivid release, which is what duplex/eraser is doing with the checkem patches. Can't use funi's video because it's hardsubbed (which also means you'd have to trim the audio to match).
Though I'm not sure why you want to use both subs and the dub at the same time anyway, unless you only want signs. In which case you'd also need to edit the subs to remove the dialogue, which is effort. Basically, your simplest option is probably to figure out how to use the checkem patch.

>(Joint with Kantai). Wait, is Kantai actually good? I watched, I think, two episodes of their KanColle and it was horrible in many ways.

Nope!
But I guess we'll see

Why is a healthy lifestyle so trendy now?

Man, you all gotta look out for not dying. Not dying is so hot right now.

is commie ebooks real

It tweets Markov chains made from real Commie dev twitters if that's what you're asking

Are you currently working on any series you did not originally intend to pick up?

Kinda, but that's life

So with simuledits, the first one to work on it is the editor? For some reason I always thought it was the TLC. Would you mind telling me what the usual order of the fansub process is?

There's not much of an 'order' because the process runs as asynchronously as possible. Encoding can happen at any time, typesetting can happen any time the workraw is up and the signs are ready, timing can happen whenever there's a script (before/after/during editing), first-pass script QC can happen right there on the pad, and so on. The only real dependencies are translation (which is required before anything else unless you're doing a simul edit, though it's usual for the other staff to work on the lines as they get translated), the editing->TLC thing I mentioned, and final QC after everything is done.

What usually comes first? Editing or TLC?

Editing if possible, because otherwise how will you know if your editor misinterprets a line

what's your special project?

You'll see when it's out, hopefully soon! (or some of it, anyway)

How bad is the Australian internet re: data caps and such? I've heard the traffic shaping / maximum bandwidth / etc. can get pretty ridiculous at times.

Mine is unlimited, but the speed kinda sucks. That can't really be fixed without getting fibre or something, though.

What do people always answer grill when asked if they are a girl?

Is there any good release for golden boy on bakabt or should I just go with whatever I can find on nyaa?

I don't even know what that is

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/fate-stay-night-unlimited-blade-works/episode-20/.88524 what do you think of this?

I'm not so sure about the stuff to do with Shirou, Archer, etc's ideals as archetypes of masculinity (though I can kinda see where she's coming from), but it does raise a bunch of perfectly valid points about the way Rin is treated in UBW. Without even getting into the creepy shit with Shinji and Kotomine, she's spent what, three episodes now as a bauble for people to fight over?
F/SN was written over ten years ago and I don't think it's exactly controversial to say it's pretty sexist by Western standards. It's up to you whether that affects your enjoyment or not, but I'm not going to go around telling other people whether they should be offended or not. People can read and interpret stuff however they like, and it doesn't preclude your ability to appreciate it on your own terms.
