I know you're no timer, but what do you think of Alpha timing and why is it barely used? I personally like it but I was watching Gintama the other day and the subgroup abused of it and it was plain annoying.
It's just a gimmick. People do it if they can be bothered, but it rarely adds anything over just splitting the line while being slightly more effort, so it doesn't get done that often. Also got slightly stigmatized due to overuse.
