How good/bad are fishsubs for EFP?

If you're at all concerned about quality, I would wait for the official subs. Compared to the other subs available, though, at least Fish knows Japanese. The LeonSubs release looks like it's translated from Chinese or something and it's full of nonsensical lines.

Are BDs from Twintails a possibility? Seems like commie likes it well enough for that, though that mainly seems to be fnord.

Yes, I am definitely doing the BDs when / if they are uploaded.

How many episodes or shows does your backlog contain approximately?

A bunch, though it's mostly stuff from this season. Haven't really counted.

The D-Frag OVA (I assume Ep13 refers to the same thing) has been like one-third done for months. It'll get finished one day, but I have no idea when.

Is the Aldnoah.Zero BD still happening?

I haven't heard a word from unit for months and I have no interest in working on it myself, so consider it dropped (or never picked up, really) unless he miraculously revives.

Nothing's moved in the past few weeks. At this stage I'm not sure if it's even getting done, so forget I said anything about us doing it, I suppose.

Is there any reason why Expelled From Paradise hasn't been subbed yet? I know that you have mentioned many times that Vivid is working on it but it's not top priority; however, is there any reason that any other fansubbing groups haven't touched it? Or is it just a lack of fansubbers nowadays?

Easily, and I've done so plenty of times in the past. I stopped bothering after a while because it's like talking to a particularly stupid brick wall. See the Kyoukai no Kanata reviews if you want a good example.
Funnily enough, I never see anyone actually explaining why they think herkz is wrong. They just call him names. Seems to me like the two things aren't remotely similar, huh?

So, I know you've mentioned that work on EFP is pretty low priority at the moment. However with the recent BD release in Japan without any subs and a very limited theatrical run here in the States with no idea of when AOA will release a domestic sub BD can we see the priority upped for EFP?

There's not a lot I can do to hurry up a busy translator, but I will try.

Do you yourself feel like you're good in english or do you think there's still room for improvement? I'm mainly talking about scriptwriting here.

Oh, plenty of room. I'm nowhere near the people who actually write for a living.
